…we are member if Intereste Group Farmers Houses (IgB) – a German community with the objective to beware old houses and to run necessary maintenance on sustainable ways by using traditional building materials like local wood, clay and bricks.

The IgB community allows us to get access to information, courses and crafts about how to beware old houses from the former centurys for the future decades. The IgB is serving a wide network with old farm house owners on local, regional and national level. Lots of field offices and contact offices are in place to be used as contact point for members and interested nonmembers.

The national IgB is keeping up the interests of the Old House Owners within the regulatory processes on local and national level.

Based on the Lauenhäger Statement (“Lauenhäger Erklärung”) the IgB has collected within a contgress in April 2023 together with about 100 experts a guideline to assure that the needs of historic buildings will be adressed sufficiently within upcomming regulations to beware the historic hertirage of such buildings.
