Arrival by car
We do have lots of free parking space just few meters away from the house. The range is from normal car park up to sufficient parking space for a van or caravan.
Also parking in front of the house is possible – recommended for arrival and departure – but not for longer stays.
If you have bikes on your trailer, we can offer you parking space for your bikes in our bicycle room.
Arrival by train
Close through train stations are:
Stadthagen: frequent stops of trains coming from Hannover – normally connected every 30 minutes. By taxi you’ll need about 10 – 15 minutes to our flat – by bike it might cost you about 30 Minutes – depending on your fitness.
Bückeburg: frequent trains to Minden and Bielefeld, Dortmund, Düsseldorf. Connected all 30 minutes. By taxi about 15 Minutes to our flat – by bike it might cost you about 30-40 minutes depending on your fitness & luggage to be transported.
Kirchhorsten: Linked by suburban train – about every hour. Could be reached from Hannover as well as from Minden- Mostly no taxis are available here if you would not have booked a taxi in advance.
Travelling by bike
Local bike trails passing through the house and you can easily reach our flat coming from Bückeburg, Rinteln or Stadthagen. Some details for such connections will be listed within the page Radtouren
